Returns Policy
If you change your mind about your non-engravable purchase, Sound Jewels will offer you an exchange, refund or gift card of the piece only, shipping cost is excluded.
All returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving your piece. All return requests will be reviewed within 48 hours. Sound Jewels will not accept any pieces when:
- The piece is part of our engravable collection;
- A piece is not returned in its original condition: has been worn, scratched, damaged or is not in its original packaging;
- If the piece is earrings, due to sanitary reasons we cannot accept returns on earrings;
- If the piece is custom made/engraved;
- If the item is returned outside of the timeframe stated above;
- Strictly no refunds on Afterpay, however we are able to offer a gift card. Please note: This is due to the cost we incur for offering these services on our website.
- Strictly no cancellation of orders that are pre-order;
- No refunds on sale products.
Postage Fees
As much as Sound Jewels would love to offer express postage on engravable orders, we would much rather ensure that your piece is perfected than rushed. All engravable orders are processed and posted within 3-4 business days via express once the product is finalised and quality checked.
Sound Jewels offers standard postage within 3-4 business days on all non-engravable orders.
Sound Jewels offers express postage within 1-2 days on all non-engravale orders.
For all purchases over $100, including "engravable" orders, please select the "Free Express Postage Over $100" option prior to finalising your payment.
Processing Times
All engravable orders are processed within 3-4 business days to ensure we handcraft your memory and QR code with quality and clarity.
All non-engravable orders are processed within 1-2 business days.
Please note the following when considering processing times:
- Sound Jewels is not responsible for addresses that are entered incorrectly, so please ensure you check all entered information at checkout;
- Sound Jewels is not responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit;
- Sound Jewels is not responsible for the cost of shipping on any returns;
- Sound Jewels will only reimburse shipping on a faulty item up to $25 AUD;
- Sound Jewels holds the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% if for some reason the order is cancelled.
Warranty
Sound Jewels offers a 3 month manufacturing warranty on all items which covers only faulty clasps & faulty links in a chain. In the rare case that breakage occurs due to a manufacturing fault within the first 3 months of purchase, Sound Jewels will happily repair or replace the item and return it free of charge or offer a gift card for the full amount paid. The customer will also receive a 3 month extended warranty on the repaired item.
If damage has occurred due to wear & tear, discolouration due to metal/skin reaction, mishandling or not caring for your jewel as per our jewel care instructions, it will not be covered under warranty.
